Our story

Family is different for everyone. The people you were born into, the ones you pick for yourself, and those you bring into the fold.  The people you care for and those that care for you. The beautify of this definition of family is that you define it.  

Why planning and talking to your loved ones is so important. In 2013 my father’s cancer treatment took a turn for the worse and we lost him overnight.  We knew he was sick, but the shock of the rapid decline made everything harder.  We had to make life or death decisions which we thought we had more time to make. Those decisions would have been almost impossible if we hadn’t known what treatment he wanted. Mixed in with the immediate grief of the loss was a wave of decisions and work that had to be done. Some within minutes of losing him, when the hospital asked me to speak with the University of Utah about his body donation, I was still in shock, but I knew that was what he wanted. That his passion and love of science would continue after he was gone knowing that helped me get through the phone call.    -Angelina

Angelina Reeves

Angelina earned her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009 and her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2005. Before dedicating herself full-time to estate planning and elder law, she spent over a decade in mortgage compliance, focusing on solutions oriented due diligence, team and client development using technology to solve problems.  

Her unique background combining legal knowledge with financial compliance gives her a comprehensive understanding of the complex issues families face when planning for the future. 

When not at work you will find Angelina volunteering in her community through Metro Volunteer Lawyers, various projects, or with Littleton Public Schools. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends,, reading, or gardening.
